Once you are ready to hold a date, I send a contract. You review it, sign, and return it with a 50% non-refundable deposit. That retainer holds the date and I start preparing—sheet music, requests, and the timing of your ceremony. The remainder is due at least 24 hours before the event.

What to send when you inquire

Date, time, and location. The package you are interested in. Indoor or outdoor. Songs you already know you want. I do not need a full timeline on the first note, but those four things let me say yes, quote travel, and tell you if a request needs extra time.

Song requests

I like custom programs. Share the songs early. If a piece is not already in the repertoire, I need time to find the music and learn it. Some requests carry an extra fee. I have more than three hours of prepared music across classical, romantic, Disney, Latin, and soft rock, and I keep recordings on the Music page so you can hear the instrument.

The day of

For a ceremony I arrive one hour early to unload and set up. Prelude begins thirty minutes before you walk. After the recessional I play another ten to fifteen minutes. Receptions are typically one to two hours. I dress to the formality of the event.

If you are planning Park City or anything beyond the 20-mile included radius from Utah County, say so in the first message so the quote is honest.
