What can I expect for a wedding ceremony?
When performing for a wedding ceremony, I will arrive one hour early to unload and will begin prelude music approx. 30 minutes before the ceremony is planned to begin. I have many songs in my repertoire for you to choose from for both the processional and recessional pieces. I can also play during any special moments, such as a unity candle lighting or private prayer. After the ceremony concludes, I will play for another 20-30 minutes while the guests disperse.
What can I expect for a wedding reception?
Wedding receptions can last anywhere from one to two hours. Depending on the venue and amount of guests, I have my own amplification system if needed. This is a great time for me to play any specific pieces you may want to request in advance. I will play a lot of classical pieces as well as some familiar contemporary songs that your guests will recognize and enjoy.
What does the Harpist Need?
When contacting me about your event, it will be helpful for me to know the following details:
Date, time and location.
Indoor or outdoor.
Amount of guests in attendance.
Song requests.
Are there stairs to get to where you want the harpist.

If amplification is needed, I will need to be close to an outlet as well as an extension cord.
Do you take song requests?
Absolutely! Be sure you have those songs in mind when we are first in contact. If it's not already in my repertoire, I'll need time to find the sheet music and learn it. There may be an extra fee with some song requests.
What special considerations are needed for the harp?
The harp is a very temperature sensitive instrument. If your event is outdoors, I require a flat, dry and well-shaded area. If it is cold or there is a chance of rain, the harp needs to be indoors.
For an indoor event, the harp needs to be away from open doors and windows as well as any direct heat sources. A 5ft x 5ft area out of the way of the flow of traffic is also required to fit the harp, harpist and music stand.
What music is in your repertoire?
I have over 3 hours of prepared music, which means I have something for ANY kind of event. From classical, romantic, disney, latin, soft rock and more, I have you covered. Please see my Music page for recorded samples of some of my favorites!
How far do you travel?
I am located in Pleasant Grove, UT 84062. Anything within 20 miles of that is in included in your rate. Anything further will incur a travel charge.
Any other details I need to know?
When you are ready to book me for your event, let me know and I will send you 2 copies of my contract. Please sign both and return one copy to me. The 50% deposit is due with the signed contract. The remainder of the fee is due at least 24 hours before the event.
